"Definitely worth adding to your collection – it’s as good a visual record of the brewing process as I’ve ever seen." -Dave of 33Beers.com

Crafting Beer with (512) Photo Gallery

Nate savors the aroma of hops.Since Crafting Beer with (512) Brewing Company consists mostly of photographs of the beer brewing process, I thought it would be wise to upload some sample photos. I picked out a few of my favorites, including the brewery floor at 6am, and a photo of Nate savoring the aroma of a handful of hops (seen on the left).

These images are what the book is about: a craft brewer's work documented in photos. Of the 73 pages, 66 are dominated with photos taken on (512)'s brewery floor. If you've seen the book and have a favorite photo, let me know. I may add it to the gallery.

See the gallery here.

*Note that these photos may vary a little from their presentation in Crafting Beer with (512). Many of the photos in the book were cropped tighter to fit the book's format and show off details.

Austin at the Great American Beer Festival

GABF Tasting GlassQuite a few Austin breweries plan to exhibit at the Great American Beer Festival:

Nine breweries! Austin must be the brewing capital of Texas. I look forward to getting a taste of Austin in Denver.

(512) Brewing Company Second Anniversary Party

Some video I shot at the (512) Anniversary Party. A continuous train of kegs rolled out of the (512) cold rooms to keep the huge crowd happy. As you'll see in the video, everyone seemed to love the anniversary beer, the Two Double IPA.

You can click on the video to watch it in HD

Beer for Boobs Brunch

Wit Mimosa

Did we scare off all the prudes? Good! Actually, there are probably fewer prudes in craft beer than there were zombies on the Titanic. But you never can be too careful.

I'll be attending the Beer for Boobs Brunch in Denver, Colorado on Friday September 17th at 10:30. That is a GABF day, so I bet we'll have a lot of crafties attending. The amazing Jennie will be there, and so will "cooler than a Antarctic cucumber in July" Taylor Shaw

Wouldn't Titanic be a better film if there were zombies?

(512) Brewing Open House

I'll be volunteering at (512) Brewing Company's open house on Saturday, August 28th, from 2-5pm. They will introduce their second anniversary beer, the Two.

The Two is a double IPA. I had a sneak peek of the Two, and it nearly killed me with deliciousness. Be careful!

I should have a proof copy of Crafting Beer with (512) Brewing Company with me, so feel free to ask for a peek.

I hope to see you there!
